It's a shame that we have come to a place in this country where wicked men and women sitting in high positions of authority (Supreme Court, Circuit Court, Congress, etc.) can tell us what we should do, or even accept, instead of allowing the people to decide. The current administration is now looking for a Supreme Court judge to fill the spot that has become vacant. They actually said they want someone who makes decisions based on feelings, and minority sympathy.
One senator said this;
"I would like to see, certainly, more women on the court. Having only one woman on the Supreme Court does not reflect the makeup of the United States. I think we should have more women. We should have more minorities,"
Another stated;
We need more people to express a woman's point of view or a minority point of view, Hispanic or African American ...
No! What we need is men of integrity that will UPHOLD the Constitution instead of changing it to meet their interest.
That affirmitive action technique won't work here. You can't play that card when choosing who will fill some of the most important positions in the free-country. What are their qualifications.
One of the nominess said he looks at the constitution and interprets it, but where it is silent, then he decides purely on opinion. I wish I was lying. They are constitutionalizing laws, and attempting to get us to believe it's constitutional. They should follow the law, not make knew ones. "Where it is silent", thats a humdinger. That is so typical. It isn't silent on many social, and current hot button issues today. That is just what they want you to think.
Homeschooling in the state of California was all but banished because of the agenda of about 5 people. You can still homeschool, but there are so many loopholes to jump through to do it it is near impossible. I am looking at my almost 5 year old son, and I am scared to death about putting him in even a "Christian" school, much less anything secular.
I don't know why other Americans can't see the snake in the grass. How can they not see what is happening? Politicians are slowly, methodically stripping away parents' rights when it comes to educating our children so their ACLU buddies can teach them perversion.
So, the ACLU threatens a law suit in Tennessee schools if they don't allow access to websites that offer "education" (yeah, I'm sure) for people who call themselves L.G.B.T. (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered). And of course the ACLU, like they have done a hundred times, misrepresent and use the First Amendment to justify their actions.
"Our schools shouldn't be keeping students in the dark about LGBT organizations and resources."
"Students … are being denied access to content that is protected speech under the First Amendment, as well as the Tennessee state constitution," said Tricia Herzfeld, staff attorney with the ACLU of Tennessee. "This kind of censorship does nothing but hurt students, whether they're being harassed at school and want to know about their legal rights or are just trying to finish an assignment for a class."
There you have it, teaching our children perversion and immorality, under the guise of freedom of speech. "Content that is protected free speech under the First Amendment..." What about parents rights? Why can't we use the First Amendment like you people do? Why can't we have rights to OUR children, and the rights to determine their education?
You know what, all free speech was not, and I repeat, WAS NOT ALLOWED in 1791, the year that the infamous First Amendment was penned. Treasonous talk, profanity, talk of a lewd or lascivious behavior, and yes, sodomy, were all punishable offenses. Why can't they get that?Freedom of speech did not give you a license to do what you FEEL, or even what you WANT. Freedom of Speech ALWAYS fell under lawful behavior. There were still laws in place. I could list a 100 sodomy, or "buggery laws", that dealt out harsh penalty for the offenses ranging from ears being cut off for siding with a sodomite, paying large fines (sometimes even losing one's estates), imprisonment, and death. Yeah, it's safe to say there was no Gay Movement back then, and for several years to follow. There were no law groups, or sodomites standing up demanding rights in the late 1700's. Why? Because if the did, they risked being castrated or hung over the courthouse steps. The Quaker laws that our forefathers adopted, followed and amended dealt harshly with such filth, as they deemed it destructive to a society, ungodly, unholy, and unnatural.
Free speech was not instituted so Howard Stern could show naked women, and talk of wicked, lewd sex acts. Free speech was not instituted so Joe Francis (CEO of "Girls Gone Wild") could change the words of the First Amendment to "freedom of expression" instead of "freedom of speech". Free Speech was not instituted so the ACLU could openly and blatantly promote immorality to our nations youth.
It is fitting that the man who suggested the wording of the First Amendment was a saved Massachusetts congressman, Fisher Aimes, who stated in 1801:
"We have trouble in the classrooms, we are putting in new text books. Nothing wrong with new books but we are spending more time on them than the Bible; it is drifting to the back of the classroom. We cannot tolerate this in American education. The Bible's morals are pure, its examples are captivating and noble."
Wow, if these men of character could see us now...
These poor deceived people. The very bill they quote, and cling to with such desperation was created by a saved, bible-thumping Christian man.
Such hypocrisy, such contradiction.
